For the last couple of years, I have been buying products on eBay. I find it very easy to shop on eBay, as I get almost all kinds of products at affordable rates. However, like me there are other consumers who want to shop online but don’t know how to buy items on eBay. The following is a guideline for new consumers on eBay:
- Visit the site and see the search engine. Now, you need to enter the keywords, for example, if you are looking for a laptop or computer, and then enter the same keyword on the search engine box.
- The search result will display the product – click on the product you want to buy and read the product information in detail. However, if you have any question regarding the product then you can ask the seller by clicking the “Ask seller a question” link.
- You should also take a look at the seller’s feedback – view the seller’s business reputation by looking at his/her Feedback score and the comments written by previous buyers.
- Now you can buy the product. You have two options: either you bid the product or buy directly. Well, bidding could be profitable for you but you will have to wait for the product until the bidding process is over. In direct buying option, you will have to pay the price without bargaining.
- Once you have won the bid or bought the item, send your payment to the seller within 3 days. You can pay the bill through electronic method also.
- Checks, money orders, and bank wire transfers are not allowed for most purchases.
